My name is Robyn Wilson and I am currently working as a Senior Biomedical Scientist in Point of Care Testing at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, Scotland. I came to Dundee from Lancashire to complete my undergraduate degree and have been here ever since.

I have been a Biomedical Scientist for just under 12 years starting out within Biochemistry in Ninewells Hospital Dundee, moving to a maternity cover senior role within toxicology and then on to Point of Care.

After completing my MSc in 2019 I secured a permanent senior role within Point of Care. I enjoy my role very much as I feel more connected to the patient than in the traditional laboratory and so can feel how my work contributes to patient care.
