Lee Peters is a Specialist Service Manager in Laboratory Medicine Department at Swansea Bay University Health Board. He has worked in pathology for 20 years, becoming a biomedical scientist in 2004, working primarily in biochemistry, but has experience in POCT and specialist chemistry.

He moved back into the laboratory after 7 years in POCT, and in 2021 moved into a managerial role managing specialised areas within the health board such as specialist chemistry, immunology, specialist coagulation and toxicology. His research is on health professionals’ education, specifically POCT education for laboratory staff.
